The Tuberculosis Research Advisory Council (TRAC) is pleased to announce an open call for nominees for the TRAC Award 2024. The award recognizes individuals, organizations, and health facilities that have made extraordinary contributions and support to TB research, TB prevention, and TB care services in Ethiopia.
The award will be presented in the following categories:
1. TRAC Award of excellence in TB Clinical Care: This award recognizes individuals that have demonstrated exceptional clinical care for patients with TB.
2. TRAC Award of excellence in TB Leadership: This award recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional leadership in implementing and managing TB.
3. TRAC Award of excellence in TB Research: This award recognizes researchers who have made significant contributions to the field of TB. Note: This award category is different from the TRAC Best Abstract Award, which will be presented to researchers whose abstract is presented at TRAC conference and rated as top three by the scientific committee each year.
4. TRAC Lifetime TB Services Award: This award recognizes individuals who have dedicated their careers to the fight against TB.
5. TRAC Award for best performing Health Facility: This award recognizes health facilities that have demonstrated exceptional performance in providing TB care.
6. TRAC Community Award to End TB: This award recognizes community-based organizations that have made significant contributions to ending TB in their communities.
7. TRAC Award excellence in TB communications and public engagement: This award recognizes individuals or organizations that have demonstrated exceptional skills in communicating about TB to the public.
We invite all interested individuals and organizations to submit nominations for the TRAC Award 2024. Nominations can be made by filling out the online nomination form available on the TRAC website. The deadline for nominations is February 20/2024.
Nomination for the 2024 TRAC Award is Closed on March 13,2024.
